Parasitism in New Mexican Bell's Vireos

Bell's Vireos are a declining species that utilize riparian and grassland systems in North America. Despite their declines, they are expanding their range in certain regions, such as New Mexico. Along the Rio Grande, riparian zone management has allowed for their slow yet continuous expansion northwards. These populations are little-studied, so we sought to better understand their success by examining parasitism rates in a population on Sevilleta NWR.
