Mexican Bird Resurvey Project

This unique collaborative project utilizes the collections of Chester C. Lamb, who collected extensively throughout Mexico from the 1930s through the 1950s. Using this valuable resource, we are able to compare the genetics of birds during this era of pre-industrialization to modern sampling. The other critical aim of this project is to resurvey the localities Chester Lamb sampled, evaluating how drastic environmental changes have impacted the bird life in Mexico.
